About the job

Rooms training at Austin Proper luxury hotel and residence is looking for a passionate and outgoing person to jump to start their USA career experience!

Do you love the music scene? If so this is the town for you! Austin has a famed nightlife that is ready to welcome you!

An employee meal and a uniform is provided. (If a chef, you will need to bring your own knives.) If you are training as a manager you will need to bring business attire. The hotel will provide up to 14 days of complimentary accomodations on site. No airport pick up is provided. After 14 days, it's the J1's responsibility to secure their own housing.

Reservations - $17.50/hr Housekeeping Supervisor - $18.00/hr Front Desk Host – $15.50/hr

About you

Eligibility criteria for our Career USA programs:- you are enrolled in a post secondary ministerially recognized academic institution in the hospitality industryOR- you have a hospitality degree and at least 1 year of recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside of the USA)OR - you have 5 years recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside the USA)- you have shown consistent career growth over the last years - you have shown serious commitment to your most recent employers

Language required: English.
